Sometimes life feels overwhelming, and it's hard to understand why.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship challenges, or a significant life change, therapy can help you find clarity, healing, and confidence.
I work with teens and adults using evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, CBT, ACT, and mindfulness, to support lasting emotional well-being.
Our Services
Individual Counseling
So many may not understand the energy our bodies carry. With a holistic approach, we look at what works for you. There is not one treatment of choice for your healing.
Therapy for Children and Teens
One of our greatest passions as a therapist is utilizing my experience in the medical field. We have worked with adults and children of all ages.
Meet Olena
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois. I earned my B.A. in Psychology from Governors State University and my M.A. in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
With over 12 years of experience in social work and mental health, I specialize in helping adults navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, chronic stress, and major life transitions. I also have a special interest in supporting professionals experiencing burnout and parents and caregivers of children with complex medical or developmental needs.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each individual's unique goals. I integrate evidence-based therapies, including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and other therapeutic approaches to help clients process difficult experiences, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy spending time with my family, staying active outdoors, traveling, and exploring new places. I believe healing begins with understanding ourselves—our experiences, emotions, and the patterns that shape our lives. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can gain clarity, build confidence, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
My Approach
When everything seems out of our control, living a happy life can feel nearly impossible. I want to empower you to find happiness and fulfillment in life, no matter the circumstances through mindful practices that will foster the connection between mind and body, leading you towards self discovery and healing.
Choosing a therapist is a deeply personal experience. I provide a 15 minute consultation at no charge, so that we can get to know each other better. The only way to truly decide whether I’m the therapist for you is to come in for a session (or attend one virtually). I pride myself on my extensive knowledge and previous experience in chronic health conditions, childbirth trauma, infertility, substance abuse, and culture.
If you’ve recently decided to see a therapist for the first time, you may be confused about how it works. Therapy is an individual experience and can vary greatly depending on each person. You can expect me to listen to and address your concerns with thoughtful questions. Though I won’t have an answer to every question you ask, my goal is to guide you towards finding the answers and solutions you need, for yourself.
I usually recommend starting with therapy once or twice a week. As time goes on, we will determine when to decrease therapy based on our agreement with your progress and development. Therapy sessions typically last 50 minutes.
